Opinions vary as to where you can get the best kind, and the closest of family and friends can get into a heated exchange about the relative merits of different gelaterias. The truth is, make sure you find your own favourite – there is usually a really good place near where you live and then another one you go to more rarely to treat yourself to some top-notch gelato.
